San Jose, CA – June 11, 2020 – The Silicon Valley Leadership Group is proud to announce that its board of directors approved five new board members responsible for overseeing the general management of the Leadership Group and assuring that the long-term interests of its members and the community are properly served.
Victoria Huff Eckert, Founder and New Ventures & Innovation Leader at PwC US was elected as Board Treasurer to the Executive Board, which is responsible for broad oversight for the group. Also elected to the Executive Board was President & CEO of Stanford Children’s Health, Paul King.

Vicki Huff Eckert is the founder and leader of PwC’s US and Global New Ventures organization – an in-house incubator that designs, develops and markets PwC’s technology offerings delivering value to clients. Vicki’s New Ventures team has evaluated and incubated over 100 investments globally and, today, PwC has over 50 SaaS offerings in the market.
The New Ventures portfolio includes cyber, finance, risk and regulatory and workforce cloud-based solutions for small, medium, and large enterprise clients.
Paul King
President & CEO, Stanford Children’s Health
Paul A. King joined Stanford Children’s Health in January 2019 bringing with him a distinguished career of more than 30 years as a health care executive, including leadership positions at several nationally recognized academic medical centers.
As Stanford Children’s Health plans for continued growth and the expansion of innovation across the entire continuum of care, King’s distinguished record of accomplishment and dedication to the critically important role of pediatric and obstetric care will be instrumental in helping Stanford Medicine achieve its Precision Health vision.
Also joining the board of directors are Anamarie Huerta Franc, Chief Operating Officer, SAP; Robert Kenney, Vice President, State & Regulatory Affairs, PG&E and Nick Lovrien, Vice President of Global Security, Facebook, Inc.
Anamarie Huerta Franc
Chief Operating Officer, SAP
Anamarie Huerta Franc brings more than 20 years of enterprise software experience to SAP starting at Oracle in product management working on the company’s first internet procurement product. As the Chief Operating Officer of the SAP Bay Area Labs, she oversees the communications, employee engagement and operations for more than 4000 women and men. Prior to her current role, she was Vice President of Customer Success at SAP, leading a global team responsible for adoption and renewal of SAP Analytics Cloud.
Robert Kenney
Vice President, State & Regulatory Affairs, PG&E
Robert is responsible for executive management of all aspects of PG&E’s interactions with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the California Energy Commission (CEC), including all regulatory filings and proceedings. He is also responsible for providing overall strategic guidance for the company’s interactions with the CPUC, the FERC, and the CEC, ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates, and facilitating positive regulatory outcomes. He leads a team of regulatory professionals responsible for developing and implementing regulatory strategy, supporting the implementation of PG&E’s business objectives.
Nick Lovrien
Vice President of Global Security, Facebook, Inc.
Nick is responsible for the overall leadership of Facebook’s world-class Global Security Organization, which balances the needs of security, business operations and customer service while enabling the business through the use of threat analysis, risk mitigation and integrated security technology solutions. Nick is a recognized expert in geo-political affairs, global security strategy (physical, cyber, systems, privacy, social media), global risk management and national security. He holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) accreditation, recognized internationally as the gold standard of excellence for Global Security executives. Nick’s expertise stems from unique positions held in the public and private sectors.
