Jessy joins the Leadership Group team from Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), where she worked for more than five years. PG&E is one of the largest combined natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. It was there that Jessy worked on energy policy, community engagement, air quality and equity efforts, smart communities, and clean transportation as the state agency expert. Before her stint at Pacific Gas and Electric she was a pivotal member of the Bloom Energy business development team working cross-functionally with sales and others to identify marketing collateral, customer meetings and strategic partnerships.

Jessy has great history with the Leadership Group according to CEO Carl Guardino, “She has already worked closely with the Leadership Group for the past decade – for the past five years at PG&E as an active member of our Working Council and numerous policy committees, and the five previous years at Bloom Energy, for whom she also served as a Working Council representative. In her new role as Chief of Staff, Jessy will help further ensure that I am as effective and efficient with my time as possible, while also helping to further ensure that the Leadership Group’s bold agenda is advanced to benefit our members, region and state.”

“As a lifelong San Jose resident, I am thrilled to join the Silicon Valley Leadership Group,” Jessy recently commented. “I am excited to jump in and drive change and meaningful impact for our community – one that has given me so much.” Jessy holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Philosophy and the other in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. She officially begins her tenure at the Leadership Group on Monday, June 24th.
