Building on our most popular continuing series (The Women’s Leadership Roundtables), SVLG recently convened a new dynamic event – Mobilizing Our Power, SVLG’s Women’s Leadership Summit. In our inaugural event, we brought together top women leaders from business, government and civic life; startup founders; wellness experts and others for an afternoon of insightful and inspiring conversations around where women in the innovation economy are today, whether in their personal or professional lives. Aimee Allison, Founder & President at She the People; Julian Guthrie, Founder & CEO at Alphy; and Jessica Chen, Co-Founder at DefiPay Networks, touch on their unique stories including what they had to do differently than their male counterparts to secure funding, what this process looked like for them, as well as tips they share for our members traveling the same path. This conversation was moderated by SVLG’s SVP and Head of Communications, Laura Wilkinson.
