Addressing the Public Health Crisis of Gun Violence
Save the date for a special virtual roundtable discussion about the public health impacts stemming from gun violence, featuring two of the nation’s leading researchers on the subject, former Kaiser Permanente CEO Dr. Robert Pearl and Dr. Garen Wintemute who runs the Violence Prevention Research Center at UC Davis.
Assemblymember Marc Berman will moderate the guided discussion and SVLG’s Lisa Gauthier will moderate the open Q&A on Tuesday, June 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PDT.
We hope you will join us by registering below.
This event is part of a limited series of members-only roundtables exploring how some of the toughest issues of the day—like gun violence and reproductive rights—intersect with SVLG’s ongoing efforts to create a more equitable, inclusive and competitive future for the innovation economy. These discussions are part of a broader SVLG effort to crystallize a new vision of corporate citizenship and business leadership—work that is now more essential than ever.
