Vince Rocha is the Vice President of Housing & Community Development at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group championing issues of housing affordability and equity. Prior to joining the Leadership Group, Vince acquired public policy expertise while working on an array of issues in the U.S. Congress for over seven years. These issues include housing, agriculture, and immigration. In addition, he is experienced in trade association advocacy and has worked on housing policy issues at the state and local level for the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS.
Notably, Vince also has experience winning political campaigns at the municipal and Congressional level, most recently helping lead the successful Measure RR campaign in 2020 to fund Caltrain.
He currently serves as a volunteer board member and Treasurer of the Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters. He is also passionate about running and volunteers as an assistant high school Cross Country and Track and Field coach.
Vince is an alumnus of Santa Clara High School and holds two B.A. degrees from the University of California Riverside in Political Science and U.S. History. In his free time Vince, his wife Megan and their two dogs enjoy exploring the regions many parks and trails.
