Matthew Bonifer is the Vice President of Finance for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. He Joined SVLG in July of 2022 to manage all aspects of accounting for SVLG and drive effective internal control systems.

Before joining SVLG, Matthew began a career in public accounting, where for nearly a decade as a CPA led teams that audited the full-cycle of accounting, conducted risk assessment, evaluated controls, and produced recommendations. Specializing in not-for-profit organizations, honed a deep understanding of financials needs, cash flow analysis, and revenue forecasting. With deep experience, vision, and strong analytical skills, transitioned into financial director leadership.

Matthew graduated from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Business where he earned his Master’s Degree in Accounting and Information Assurance and his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a finance concentration. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys adventuring with family and friends, reading through his library of books, and being less than helpful in the kitchen.
