Nadia Anderson Joins Silicon Valley Leadership Group as SVP, Chief of Staff and Strategy

SAN JOSE, Calif. (March 27, 2023) — The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) – the leading business association representing the innovation economy and its ecosystem – today announced that Nadia Anderson, PhD, has joined the organization’s executive management team as Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff and Strategy.  She will work directly with SVLG’s CEO Ahmad Thomas to help execute high-priority programs, projects and initiatives, and provide strategic guidance to SVLG’s senior leadership team.

She brings a wealth of policy, programmatic and advocacy experience to our team, and will play an instrumental role in spearheading our organization’s modernization and transformation work to deliver exceptional value for our innovation economy members,” said Ahmad Thomas, CEO of SVLG. 

Dr. Anderson is an experienced senior management professional with experience spanning the tech, non-profit, public and private sectors. Dr. Anderson previously led SVLG’s Racial Justice and Equity (RJE) portfolio, and is a government affairs and public policy professional whose resume spans all levels of government, both domestic and international.

Dr. Anderson earned her doctorate from the University of Delaware and is also an alumna of the University of Virginia and Virginia State University – a Historically Black College located in Petersburg, VA.
