Women’s (In)equality in a Post Roe World
The Supreme Court’s recent ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade will negatively impact the health of millions of women across the country and could undermine the role of women in the workplace. We’ll be hearing from Congresswoman Anna G. Eshoo, Gaby Santana Goldstein (Head of Business at startup, HeyJane), and Sara El-Amine (Head of Public Engagement | Public Policy, Lyft) about how their companies are re-aligning their business and people strategies around reproductive rights and women’s health in the wake of this controversial ruling and the current shake-up of abortion rights around the country.
This event is part of a limited series of members-only roundtables exploring how some of the toughest issues of the day—like gun violence and reproductive rights—intersect with SVLG’s ongoing efforts to create a more equitable, inclusive and competitive future for the innovation economy. These discussions are part of a broader SVLG effort to crystallize a new vision of corporate citizenship and business leadership—work that is now more essential than ever.
