2022 Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot Returns in Person with 15,000+ Registrants

The Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot, America’s largest Thanksgiving Day race, returns in person on this year’s Thanksgiving holiday. The Turkey Trot has donated more than $11 million to date in support of local charities. More than 15,000 registrants are expected to participate in person and virtually this year.

Autonomous long-haul trucking stands to grow the Golden State’s economy while creating jobs and raising wages without mass driver layoffs

SAN JOSE, CA (13, April 2022) — A new study released by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation finds that the impact of automated trucking in California would increase the state’s economy by upwards of $6.5 billion or more, as well as grow wages and employment for workers without prompting mass driver layoffs. In fact, the report finds that the automated trucking industry could generate up to 2,400 new jobs in California.
