Mayors’ Circle Convening
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group is excited to host our final Mayors’ Circle Convening of the year on Wednesday, November 10th from 10:00am to 11:30am. We will engage local elected officials in discussions around issues that cities are facing in the pandemic and beyond, including economic development, climate change, and more.
The Mayors’ Circle was originally formed in 2020 to solicit information and ideas from our local elected leaders in support of the work of the Silicon Valley Recovery Roundtable. Since then, the Mayors’ Circle has continued to convene twice-a-year to provide an opportunity for elected leaders to share their innovative programs and initiatives that address regional issues related to housing, transportation, economic development, and climate change.
This event will include a robust dialogue between our Mayors’ Circle Co-Chairs: San Jose Vice Mayor Chappie Jones, Redwood City Mayor Diane Howard, Fremont Mayor Lily Mei, and Sunnyvale Mayor Larry Klein. We will also feature a special appearance from San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo.
