Serious Play: Games Beyond Entertainment
Electronic games are among the largest entertainment industries in the world! Games and interactive experiences have multiple uses and applications, and they are being applied in a wide variety of “serious” fields including education, health, and finance.
Join Magy Seif El-Nasr, Vice Chair of Serious Games in the Computational Media Department at UC Santa Cruz, from 3:00pm – 4:00pm PST, for a roundtable discussion of how electronic games impact our real and virtual worlds, and how the gaming industry will help construct the future of critical technologies.
We hope to see you there!
