Katherine (Kat) Chan is the SVP, Operations and Chief of Staff to the CEO for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG). She leads SVLG's Office of the CEO and business development team and oversees key operational functions including strategic initiatives, member success, human resources, and finance. In her Chief of Staff capacity, she extends CEO Ahmad Thomas's reach across the organization's leading priorities, drives cross-functional initiatives, and ensures alignment between leadership vision and execution.

She brings almost two decades of experience scaling organizations and leading high-impact initiatives across real estate, technology, and venture-backed companies. Most recently at Airbnb, she drove critical growth initiatives during the company's pre-IPO phase, serving as P&L owner for the Airbnblove loyalty program, leading new product launches, managing the integration of a $750M acquisition portfolio, and contributing to the strategic development of Airbnb.org, the company's philanthropic arm. Prior to her technology career, Katherine honed her operational expertise in real estate development, focusing on the luxury hospitality sector at Kimpton Hotels and Ohana Real Estate Investors. Drawn to Silicon Valley's innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, she transitioned to technology and has since advised CEOs of technology companies and nonprofits on fundraising strategy, go-to-market execution, and operational scaling.

Katherine holds a B.S. from Cornell University's SC Johnson College of Business and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
