California Transportation Commission approves $351 million for improvements on Hwy. 101

The California Transportation Commission (CTC), of which our own CEO and President Carl Guardino is a gubernatorial appointee, voted to approve $2.6 billion in competitive funds in three of the seven categories from Senate Bill 1 (Beall). The gas tax started revenue collection November 1, 2017.

With the action taken May 16th and 17th, the CTC has now completed the first round of funding for every SB1 program under its purview, totaling $9.2 billion in projects providing transportation and traffic relief to California communities. Locally this means a huge win for the Bay Area in three competitive pool of funds.
