The Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s premier event of the year is just around the corner and tables are selling fast! Join us and 1,300 top business, civic and political leaders as we honor our Spirit of Silicon Valley Lifetime Achievement awardee. At this year’s Annual Public Policy Luncheon we will also highlight Bay Area mayors who will share their perspectives and forecasts for your communities as part of  “Community Conversations” discussions.  You can also mix and mingle before settling in to recognize our esteemed awardee and engage in a Fireside Chat.  

 

SPIRIT OF SILICON VALLEY LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Keith Krach, Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment

 

The Silicon Valley Leadership Group is proud to announce that Keith Krach, a businessman and entrepreneur, noted for bringing transformational leadership to many sectors, including factory automation, engineering, commerce, education, philanthropy is this year’s Spirit of Silicon Valley Lifetime Achievement awardee.

He is the former CEO and Chairman of DocuSign (2009–2019), which provides electronic signature and digital transaction management solutions to accelerate commerce between companies, while reducing the ecological impact of paper transactions. Mr. Krach led the company through its transformation from a startup to a publicly traded global enterprise with 400 million users in 188 countries.

Concurrently, Mr. Krach served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Purdue University (2007–2013) where he recruited Governor Mitch Daniels, and initiated a new model for STEM education that drove progress in student affordability, online learning, global reach, and retraining the workforce.

Krach has went on to greater heights in the political arena taking the oath of office as Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment in June of this year.

Parking areas available for guests:

 Handicapped Parking is available directly in front of the Convention Center

  • 1,500 on-site parking spaces in a 3-story parking garage on the Santa Clara Convention Center campus shared with the Hyatt Regency and TechMart.
  •  Additional overflow parking may be available in surrounding lots based on availability.

BIKING

For those of you who would like to ride your bike, there are bike racks in front of the convention center close to the street, (Tasman.) To arrive safely by bike, there are two trails that get you there, the San Tomas Creek Trail and the Guadalupe Trail.
