Eric Houser is an executive vice president and group head for the Wells Fargo Technology, Media and Telecom Group. TMT is a corporate banking industry vertical that serves venture, middle market, mid-corporate and large corporate companies in the Technology, Media & Telecom sectors. He oversees a team of banking professionals who deliver the banks full suite of banking capabilities to customers across the United States.

Eric joined Wells Fargo in 1997 as a senior relationship manager in the Palo Alto, Calif., commercial banking office. In 2004, he was promoted to loan team manager of the Santa Clara Valley commercial banking group, responsible for credit management. In 2006, he was named regional vice president and started the Southern California Growth Technology Group. In January 2008, he was named regional vice president for the Santa Clara Valley commercial and technology banking group. In 2011, he was promoted to division manager of the Silicon Valley/Central Coast technology and commercial banking group.

Eric received his B.A. in business administration from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif., and his M.B.A. in finance from the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif.

Eric currently serves on the board of Joint Venture Silicon Valley and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University.
