We are honoring past, present, and future women leaders as we celebrate the momentous occasion in 1920 when the Nineteenth Amendment was ratified cementing into history the “Passage of Women’s Suffrage” in the United States.
Through 12 months of events and activities, large and small, we will engage women – and men – in conversations and partnerships to continue elevating women and girls into positions of leadership and influence. While our country has made great strides in gender parity with civic and organizational leadership, we can continue to ensure that women are uplifted, recognized, and celebrated. How can we affect positive change that elevates women leaders?
Through our 2019 Celebration of Women Leaders series, we are dedicated to finding and practicing creative answers to this very question – in this vein, we introduce our 2019 Celebration of Women Leaders, a series of policy dialogues, speaker events, and conferences that will highlight and showcase the burgeoning achievements of women leaders across our Silicon Valley community.
