Voleck Taing brings a decade of Legislative experience to their role as Senior Vice President of Government Relations at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing SVLG’s legislative priorities, state government affairs activities, policy development, legislative activity, and many other tasks on behalf of our member companies.

Voleck started their career as a third house intern prior to joining the California Legislature, setting off a decade of navigating the complex world of politics and policy in California’s challenging political landscape. Most recently, Voleck served as Legislative Director for highly regarded Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi and then-Assembly Majority Leader Ian Calderon. Voleck earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of California, Davis.

In 2021, Voleck was nationally recognized as one of the trailblazing Asian American Pacific Islander on the unelected side of politics by the National Association of Asian Pacific in Politics and Public Affairs’ list of top 40 under 40 professionals.
