Bonnie Sheikh is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Silicon Valley Leadership Group. She is responsible for the full range of executive support to the CEO and serves as the liaison between the CEO and other constituencies, including corporate, government and community organizations.
Prior to joining SVLG she was the Executive Assistant to the President at Santa Clara University managing all aspects of the Presidents' schedules, travel, meetings and participation in both internal and external programs and events, as well as facilitating two presidential transitions.
Bonnie has over 25 years of experience in Administration, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, Education, Development and Fundraising having worked in both public and private enterprises. Earlier in her career she was part of the Sales Division at Mercury Interactive (now part of HP's Software Division) in their Singapore Offices selling to the Southeast Asian and Australian Markets. Prior to Mercury, she was the VP of a Business Management Consulting Firm specializing in E-business Strategy and Business Process Improvement for both government and corporate clients. Bonnie started her career working in non-profit organizations and worked for Special Olympics International.
Bonnie holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Political Science. She has moved around the world with her husband and two children living in Washington, DC, Singapore, and Germany before settling in the Silicon Valley.
