Alysa Cisneros is the Education Policy and Programs Senior Associate. In her role, she analyzes and advocates for education policy on the state and federal level, specializing in K-12 policy; equity and diversity; and computer science education. On the local level, she works to advance and improve access to high-quality STEM education.
Prior to joining the Leadership Group, she worked as a political science researcher analyzing civic engagement education outcomes; and as a Tech and Education Public Policy Extern with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). She has also worked in field campaign management for numerous state and local campaigns.
In addition to being a proud De Anza College alumna, Alysa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis, and a Masters in Public Policy, both from Mills College.
